Meet The Herd

Hank
Hank is a 22-year-old grade Quarter Horse gelding with a unique mix of Quarter Horse, Hanoverian, and Argentinian Criollo in his DNA. Despite his noble lineage, Hank’s true gift shines in his gentle heart and his love for little kids.
As the protector of the herd, Hank has a calm, steady presence that helps people feel safe and grounded. He’s always up for a crunchy carrot, apple slice, or horse treat, and lately, he’s discovered that bum scratches are pretty wonderful too!
Hank is more than just a horse, he’s a teacher, a friend, and the heart of Dare to Dream Equine

New Herd Member!
Luna is our news and adorable, almost-3-year-old Gypisian/Appy cross that has joined the herd! She’s a total sweetheart, curious, brave, and very people-oriented. Already showing a kind temperament, we've been looking forward to joining our herd.
As she is still young and learning, Luna will only be available to use for older teens and adults. Our goal for her is to eventually use her in all sessions and to introduce leadline rides.
She’s young, but she already has the heart for this work.

Angela Farnsworth
Ello! I’m Angela Farnsworth, founder of Dare to Dream Equine. With over 15 years of horse experience, my journey has been filled with learning, growth, and healing. Horses helped me recognize that I experience the world differently, and through that process, I discovered that I am both ADHD and Autistic. Instead of it being a limitation, this awareness has deepened my empathy, my connection with horses, and my passion for creating a space where others can feel seen, accepted, and inspired.
Hank, my trusted partner and the heart of our team, has taught me so much about presence, connection, and the quiet wisdom horses offer. Not to mention what Christ's true love feels like.
I’m currently working toward certification as a PATH Intl. Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning (ESMHL), with the goal of guiding children, teens, and adults in building confidence, emotional awareness, and authentic connection through hands-on, non-riding experiences with horses.
When I’m not with the herd, I love creating equine and pet-inspired art through Dare to Dream Designs or spending time with my husband, two daughters, and our many pets on our mini farm.
A few fun facts about me:
-
I’m multiracial, with Latina, Icelandic, and German heritage, just to name a few. Spanish is technically my first language, though I’m still in the process of training to regain it.
-
Because I have such a crazy heritage, I absolutely love learning about everyone's cultures!
-
I also adore the fantasy world. The Lord of the Rings is my all-time favorite, and I even dabbled in learning Sindarin, one of Tolkien’s Elven languages.
-
I’ve also tried learning the Icelandic language and, most recently, Hawaiian.
-
Music is a big part of my life, and I’m especially drawn to electronic beats.
-
I am faith-based, and my relationship with Jesus guides my life and mission.
Dare to Dream Equine is more than a program to me; it’s a place where people and horses come together to grow, to feel seen, heard, and to feel the spirit of Christ's love for us.
